The PCF Charity Division works to enhance the welfare and interests of both the citizens and residents of Singapore regardless of gender, race or religion. Our programmes provide financial empowerment to the underprivileged. It was set up on the 23 July 2002 with the Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and Charity status granted on both 24th and 25th July 2002 respectively. PCF Charity Division were involved in major programmes such as : 
 

PCF Alumni Book Prize

The PAP Community Foundation (PCF) awards the PCF Alumni Book Prize to one Primary 5 pupil per Primary School in Singapore. Initiated in 2004, this book prize is to recognise the achievements of former PCF students. 
 
Each Primary School will nominate and select a deserving student in their school to receive the prize worth $200/-. Nomination and selection is done in October each year, and the award will be disbursed from December to the first quarter of the next year. The award recipients will receive the award from the Member of Parliament/Grassroot Organisations Adviser of their constituency.
 
The criteria for the prize are as follows:
  •         The student must have attended pre-school at a PAP Community Foundation (PCF) Sparkletots Preschool Centre
  •           for at least one year;
  •        The student has shown good all-round performance in academic results, co-curricular activities, or community service
  •           and leadership position;
  •         The student has performed well among his/her peers.
  •         The student is of good and sound character
  •         The student is a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
