The PCF Charity Division (PCF-CD) was set up on 23 July 2002.

It was granted charity status on 25 July 2002 and Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status from 24 July 2002.

The objectives of PCF-CD are to promote the welfare and interests of the citizens and residents of Singapore regardless of gender, race or religion and to help the poor and needy.

The major programmes include PCF (Polytechnic) Study Awards, PCF Headstart Fund (HSF), PCF Alumni Book Prize, PCF ASSIST scheme, Book prizes and donations to other community organisations.
