'One of our PCF Zhenhua staff, Ms Jurina Chan, was recently awarded the May Day Model Worker Award' said PCF Branch Administrator, Mrs Daisy Chee.

' Jurina is a conscientious, dedicated and reliable staff member, who discharges her duties with minimum supervision. Very often, she will go extra mile or work beyond her working hours.' 

When asked to comment, Jurina said, 'I would like to thank the management and principal of PCF Zhenghua and my family for their unfailing support, which has enabled me to upgrade myself and contribute in pre-school education.'

' I received the Model Workers Award from NTUC on 12 May 2007 form my outstanding work performance. Initially, when I was nominated for the award, I did not expect that I would be selected, as there were many other exemplary employees. I was surprised when told that I was one of the recipients. I was very happy that my contributions have been recognized and appreciated.

I would like to thank my fellow colleagues who have helped one way or another in my work and also my superior who had put her trust in me for the nomination.

On the day of presentation, I was presented with a trophy and a certificate. At the same time, I was rewarded with a 5 days 4 nights trip to Vietnam, all expenses paid for.'
