INFANT CARE SERVICE

"So chubby! So cute! So adorable ! So lovable!" Such are the words that spill out naturally by acquaintances that have short contacts with infants. In the eye of Infant Educarers, infants are characterised by their own distinctive personalities. In their daily encounter with infants, they meet some who are coy and seem contented observing from afar, yet many who are cheerful, spontaneous and seem to be delighted by a variety of stimulating experiences.

Infant Educarers recognise that infants are completely dependent on others to meet their needs before they develop the physical ability to care for themselves. They observe infants' growth, their individual rhythms, styles and then plan a schedule that works for each of them, ensuring that the daily experiences for infants are pleasant. Such is the professional care rendered to infants at our PCF Sparkletots Infant & Childcare Centres.

Programme

Our Infant and Toddler programmes (age 2 - 18 months) are planned to ensure that the individual needs of each child are met in the areas of physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.

Our programme includes a wide variety of stimulation such as sensorial experiences, songs and rhymes, verbal interaction by means of toys and books. Pictures, puzzles, music, games and space for active play are also included to enhance their growth and development.   The interaction between the infant/toddler and the caregiver during routine care and rituals foster their learning and development.

Our programme encompasses developmental stages, characteristics, strengths and needs of the individual child as well as their families.

Parent's Testimony

'It gives me great pleasures to compliment a very good and nice senior teacher named Stella Low. My infant, Cayden Toh, is placed in the care of Sparkletots and had a rather bad case of eczema. We were very fortunate, through Stella's enthusiasm who helped us to curb the problem even though it may not have been part of her job. It is this enthusiasm that touches us - and thanks to her, our baby's condition is improving. This is indeed a great 'Going the Extra Mile'
