ABOUT PCF CARE SERVICES

In 1991, PCF started its 1st Childcare centre. The aim is to support working mothers, in giving them the assurance and peace of mind knowing that their children are in good hands.

Currently, we have centres located in different parts of Singapore, providing infant care, child care and student care services. Our centres are collectively known as SPARKLE*TOTS.

The name 'SPARKLE*TOTS' is a combination of two words: 'SPARKLE' refers to shiny, glittery, lively and witty.  'TOTS' refers to young children. PCF believes that our children in our centres are lively, witty and will be shining stars as they grow up.

The 4 faces represented in our logo symbolize the 4 ethnic groups in Singapore, signifying that our centres are open to all members of the public regardless of race; language or religion. PCF believes that children of different ethnic background, social status and abilities should not be deprived of quality care and education.

OBJECTIVES
We aim to achieve the following:

  • Social cohesion.  Our centres are open to all, regardless of race, language or religion.
  • Promote the health, growth and development of each child according to his/her potential.
  • Affordable.  We strive to meet the needs of dual income families and those of the lower income group by keeping fees affordable to them without compromising the quality of care and service.
  • Relate and promote partnership with parents, teachers and community.
  • Keep improving the centre's quality and standards in order to support and equip children with the necessary skills for a smooth transition to primary education.
  • Learn through fun and meaningful activities for children.
  • Ensure that staffs are caring, supportive and well-trained to meet the developmental needs of children.
  • Together we work as partners with parents in nurturing young children and providing them with positive and quality early experiences.
  • Open up channels for constructive feedback and suggestions from parents.
  • Total child development and holistic program that enhance children's interaction, teamwork, self-confidence and creativity.
  • Set up a learning environment that is age-appropriate, conducive and stimulating for children to optimize their social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development.
