Overseas Learning Experience Programme (OLEP) OLEP was conceived by Cluster Department (CLD) in 2009 as a way to heighten the worldwide view of KN Leaders and to provide them with an opportunity for learning beyond the confines of their kindergartens. By attending overseas conference as well as learning from school visits, KN Leaders would be able to widen their horizon and also pick up best practices. Furthermore, OLEP would provide an excellent platform for our leaders to network with other early childhood practitioners. At the end of the trip, KN Leaders are expected to submit their individual reflection journal. They are also expected to share their learning and experiences at various platforms. This act of sharing would boost their self-confidence and presentation skills. It would also promote a culture of sharing among our pre-school practitioners. Teachers' Overseas Study Trip Award (TOSTA) The Teachers' Overseas Study Trip Award (TOSTA) was conceived by Cluster Department in 2011 to provide opportunities for our PCF kindergarten teachers to travel overseas to pick up best practices from schools providing good early childhood educational programmes. By attending educational conferences as well as learning from school visits, kindergarten teachers would be able to widen their horizons and also pick up best practices.
