PCF Family Day 2022
PCF celebrated its annual Family Day at the Singapore Zoo on 11 September 2022 with 1,000 participants comprising staff, families, and children from PCF Sparkletots. Themed “Going Green Begins With Me”, the event promoted sustainability and family bonding through performances, a sustainability trail, and an art exhibition. The art exhibition featured 90 artworks by PCF Sparkletots children, created using different art mediums to reflect their understanding of climate change and sustainability.
Guest-of-Honour Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong attended the event, together with Minister Josephine Teo (PCF Council Chairman), Minister Gan Kim Yong, and Senior Minister of State Dr Amy Khor.
At the event, the PCF Council Chairman presented $420,000 that was raised at Northwest District PCF Fundraising 2022 to PCF Senior Care Development Fund and some other 17 selected charitable organisations to uplift the vulnerable and less privileged in the community.
The 18 beneficiaries are PCF Senior Care Development Fund, BW Monastery, Sembawang Family Service Centre, Touch Community Touch Active Ageing, Adventist Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Blossom World Society, Lion Befriender Active Ageing Centre @ Ghim Moh 18, New Life Community Services – Childcare Centre, Fei Yue Active Ageing Centre (Limbang), Sian Chay Medical Institution, Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore), Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre, MWS Family Service Centre – Yishun, Tzu Chi Foundation Buddhist Tzu Chi Traditional Chinese Medicine Free Clinic (Khatib), Clarity Singapore Limited, Montfort Care Goodlife! Yishun, Thong Teck Sian Tong Lian Sin Sia – NKF Dialysis Centre and Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Ltd.
