- Qualification: Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) / Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ACECCE) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) / Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Education and/or any of the above equivalent for EY2/L1/L2 as recognized by ECDA

Key Responsibilities:
- To facilitate and support clients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), taking into consideration of individual preferences
- Provide assistance in oral/NGT/PEG feeding, medication support, and basic monitoring (vitals, wound care under supervision)
- Support planning and facilitation of daily centre programmes, activities, and community outings
- Assist in meal and tea preparation/serving, and rotate through duties including cleaning and disinfection, transport escort, and logistics support

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
- Accountable for the day-to-day running and management of the Senior Care Centre to meet MOH’s standards of service deliverables
- Accountable for the optimal clientele build-up and sustenance within the expected capacity
- Maintain a high level of customer service and client/caregiver engagement
- Manage the waiting time for assessment, transport arrangement and admissions (including ‘Trials’)
- Review the client’s general health and physical abilities (with input by therapist and nurse) and draw up an Individual Care Plan (ICP) for the client and discuss with caregiver the outcome expectation during initial assessment for admission. Thereafter to monitor and review the ICP of the client from time to time to track achievement of the goals therein
- Provide financial counselling on all available schemes of services appropriately for individual client’s admission
- Lead and supervise the care team to deliver care with group and/or person-centered [individual] client programmes
- Support staff and clients during conducting of programmes/activities; e.g. exercises, games, handicrafts, excursions, etc.
- Be responsible for clients’ safety and care
- Track clients’ outcomes and satisfaction with individual care plans developed by the care team
- Conduct multidisciplinary case discussions with Therapists and members of the care team (including Nurse)
- Engage and provide caregivers regular updates of seniors’ medical and health conditions
- Recruit appropriate groups of staff to ensure adequate coverage to provide optimal safe quality care delivery
- Provide and supervise on the job training with buddy for new recruits during the mandated provisional employment
- Analyse staff training needs and plan staff training schedule
- Organise the care professionals to undertake the proper handling of clients’ personal care and cleanliness; i.e. toileting; hygiene; etc.
- Oversee the proper cleaning/washing of toilets and common areas inside and outside the centre
- Maintain financial accountability by reviewing, forecasting, preparing, and justifying operational and capital budgets
- Maintain inventory control of assets and consumables and ensure regular maintenance of equipment
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
- Establish and oversee a volunteer group to support the conducting of activities in the centre
- Understand dementia issues and know how to manage clients who display behavioural problems [associated with onset of dementia]
- Manage enquiries (in person at centre as well as through other means of communications) with timely follow-up
- Review programmes and service offerings from time to time to keep up with the demands of changing clientele requirements and eldercare landscape
- Participate actively in ad-hoc projects either self-initiated or by HQ to improve the quality of care and the brandname of PCF Sparkle Care
Job Holder Requirements and Qualifications:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University, preference will be given to candidates with a Nursing Degree/Diploma or Degree/Diploma/Specialist Certification in eldercare [or dementia care] from a recognized local or overseas institution
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in a hospital or eldercare setting

- Plan and run physiotherapy rehab therapy services in the Senior Care Centre (in coordination with the Centre Manager and Occupational Therapist)
- Conduct assessments for SCC clients during admission and periodic reviews
- Institute an appropriate and effective client therapy treatment
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions with the SCC care team
- Contribute to formulation and follow-up of clients’ Individual Care Plan (ICP) to ensure holistic health and care coverage
- Plan and conduct group therapy programme and activities for day care clients
- Review and revise programme schedule when necessary to enhance quality of therapy program
- Take charge of proper documentation of therapy records.
- Understand dementia issues and know how to manage clients who display behavioural problems (associated with onset of dementia)
- Interact to foster close and warm relationships with clients’ families and caregivers; and to exhibit with sincerity the care and respect of clients
- Take charge of other duties which the Centre Manager may assign from time to time
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy, qualified and registered with AHPC (Allied Health Professions Council)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in a hospital or eldercare institution; preference is for a candidate with working experience in a community setting

Job Description:

Relief Senior Nurse (Locum)

Job Description:
- Take charge of the entire clinical nursing practice in a Senior Care Centre
- Take charge of nursing care for elderly clients; including fall risks and hospitalization processes
- Take charge of medical procedures in an outbreak of infectious diseases
- Conduct client assessments during admissions and periodic reviews
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions
- Oversee adequacy of medical supplies and equipment
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing – Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital or eldercare setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Themed “Kindness Begins with Me” and in celebration of SG60, PCF Charity Week 2025 brought together PCF Branch Chairmen, staff, preschoolers and seniors as One PCF family to do good from 25 to 29 August 2025.

With over 3,400 volunteers contributing 6,800 hours of their time, we touched more than 34,000 lives through simple acts of kindness.

The week reminded us that every act of kindness, big or small, strengthens our community. As we continue to Sparkle Lives, we thank everyone who joined us and welcome more to be part of our mission.

HIGHLIGHTS AND MEDIA COVERAGE

An intergenerational celebration at the Singapore Flyer where 60 children, 60 seniors, and 60 volunteers came together for games and performances.

This video follows Josiah’s journey from a young boy struggling with challenges at home and in school, to discovering how a simple act of kindness can create a lasting change — a lesson he now carries forward as a teacher nurturing the next generation.
