Key Responsibilities:
- To plan and implement the curriculum under the guidance of the Centre Supervisor to ensure a well-run, purposeful, engaging and child-centred programme responsive to children’s needs and aligned to the principles spelt out in the standard ECE Framework
- Create a learner-centred environment where children can explore, experiment, and interact to learn
  Participate actively in assessing the needs of the children
- Work with and support the Centre Supervisor and other staff at the Centre to enhance children’s educational experiences
- Contribute one’s talents and professional expertise towards the centre’s initiatives, educational programmes and projects
- Establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education
- Keep abreast of the latest educational development and continually upgrade one’s skills and knowledge
- Be involved in simple action research projects
- Role-model professionalism in appearance, speech and action
- Create a safe learning environment and to provide the best possible care to children under their charge
Job Holder Requirements and Qualifications:
- Qualification: Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) / Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ACECCE) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) / Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Education and/or any of the above equivalent for EY2/L1/L2 as recognized by ECDA

Place & Train Programme: WSQ Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education

Successful candidates will be placed under the above programme (fully sponsored) and receive monthly allowances while studying full time*.

Key Responsibilities:

ABOUT

The KidSTART Sparkle Homes initiative, launched in partnership with KidSTART Singapore, supports lower-income families by providing essential child development items and household appliances to create safer, more nurturing home environments where children can learn, grow and thrive.

The partnership will run from 2025 to 2027, with PCF committing up to S$412,000 in phased funding tied to measurable outcomes. In 2025, participating children and families will receive up to S$1,500 worth of child development items and household appliances to enhance their home environments.

When children grow up in homes that are child-friendly, they feel more secure, are more curious to explore, and are better prepared to learn.

That’s why KidSTART Sparkle Homes focuses on equipping families with the furnishings and essentials that directly support their children’s growth and development.
