PCF Council of Management

The Council of Management is the ultimate decision-making body of the Foundation and has the overall responsibility of driving PCF towards its mission and vision. The Council is in charge of the governance and has oversight of the Foundation in all matters. The Council may delegate its authority to its appointed Sub-Committees or the Management but remains responsible for the decisions of the delegated body.

The Council of Management operates within a well-defined framework established by terms of reference, encompassing its range of responsibilities, authority, and duties. These include critical aspects such as succession planning, meeting conduct, and the overall composition of the Council. A fundamental objective of the Council of Management is to ensure that its collective expertise spans essential domains, including accounting, finance, management, communication, strategic planning, and technology, thus promoting a rich diversity of knowledge.

Council of Management members are carefully nominated and chosen based on a wide array of skills that complement those of their peers, enabling PCF to effectively address its multifaceted operational needs. The appointment and re-appointment of Council of Management members is confirmed through a formal voting process. All new Board members undergo a structured induction programme.

At least once every three years, Board members subject themselves for re-nomination and re-appointment.

At least once every three years, Board members are subjected to a self-evaluation exercise to assess the performance and effectiveness of the Board.
