Corporate Governance
Disclosure and Transparency
PCF is dedicated to upholding the utmost standards of transparency, integrity, and accountability across all facets of our operations. Our core belief revolves around nurturing confidence and establishing an environment of candid communication with our stakeholders, which encompass our valued customers, partners, employees, and the general public.
To uphold these principles, we regularly furnish information pertaining to our initiatives and undertakings. Audit declarations, and board constituents are accessible through our annual reports, official website, and various social media channels. Diverse informative materials are also disseminated across an array of print and social media. All these allow our stakeholders to discern PCF’s financial management, program efficacy, and corporate governance practices.
Conflict of Interest
PCF places a strong emphasis on transparency and ethical conduct, with a comprehensive Conflict of Interest (COI) policy that guides board and staff members. The policy covers various types of conflicts, including direct, indirect, vested, and deemed interests, related to financial matters, gifts, external engagements, and asset use.
The policy also includes safeguards such as abstaining from discussions and refraining from voting on matters where a member has a personal interest, ensuring transparency and fairness in decision-making, and extends to staff recruitment to avoid undue influence.
Financial Management and Internal Controls
The Council reviews and approves the Annual Budget prepared by the Management. There are written procedures put in place for Financial Matters such as Procurement Procedures & Controls, Receipting, Payment Procedures & Controls and System for the delegation of authority and limits.
Volunteer Management Policy
The Foundation has in place a Volunteer Management Policy to provide overall guidance and direction to staff and volunteers engaged in volunteer involvement and management efforts. The Policy includes but not limited to the Roles and Responsibilities of the Committee Members and Code of Conduct for the Volunteers.
