Make your own Bubble Bomb and get a big bang out of a simple experiment! Using just baking soda, vinegar, tissue paper and a Ziploc bag, watch how the power of fizz can pop a plastic bag. Get a big bang out of this easy experiment!
Materials:
1 cup of vinegar
Tissue paper
A Ziploc bag
1 tablespoon of baking soda
Method:
Step 1: Place the baking soda in a piece of tissue paper and roll it up.
Step 2: Pour a cup of vinegar into the plastic bag and place the rolled up tissue paper inside.
Step 3: Seal the bag, give it a shake, and stand back. Watch what happens.
What will happen?
Once the tissue paper dissolves, the baking soda and vinegar will mix to create carbon dioxide, which will result in a fizzy reaction inside of the bag. The bag will swell and burst with a bang.
