I am a passionate early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience. I have a Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Education and am committed to creating optimal learning environments for all children.
I actively engage my team in projects like SSDB, SEC-SGA, and intergenerational programmes. These projects help to foster meaningful community partnerships and promote bilingualism.
One way that I promote bilingualism is by incorporating the mother tongue into classroom projects. This allows children to participate meaningfully in purposeful play and activities.
We have achieved several awards for our work in this area, including 2nd place in the Singapore Preschool Chinese Teachers’ Story Teaching Aids Design Competition and 1st place in the 2022 Chinese Children’s Songs Creation and Performance Competition.
