I began my career as an Assistant Teacher. I loved it so much I decided to pursue a Diploma in Early Development Care and Education (Teaching and Leadership).

Over the past 22 years, I have steadily climbed the professional ladder, serving as Principal in various childcare centres. My 8 years of personal teaching experience has given me a deep understanding of the critical role that educators play in a child’s growth and development.

As Centre Principal, I partner with national agencies and community organisations, such as the Health Promotion Board, to provide healthy meals for children. I also collaborate with the NTUC Health Day Centre for Seniors (Fengshan) for intergenerational programmes where children can practice their school-taught values while interacting with the elderly. Additionally, my centre’s involvement in KidSTART, a government initiative, helps underprivileged families promote their children’s education, health, and growth.

Under my guidance, the centre achieved its second SPARK accreditation and ECDA licene, securing its status until 2025 and obtaining a 36-month licence.
