I have over 30 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator. A child’s early years establish the foundation for lifelong learning, behaviour, and health.
As a centre leader, I aim to guide and inspire her dedicated team. I want them to enhance their skills. This will ensure top-tier education and care for our young learners. I also emphasise building strong relationships with parents and the community. I recognise the importance of these relationships for nurturing children’s holistic development.
We collaborate with national agencies and community partners. For example, we work with the Health Promotion Board to ensure nutritious meals for our children. We engage with NTUC Health (Geylang East) Nursing Home for intergenerational programmes. Children can apply school-taught values while interacting with the elderly.
Additionally, we participate in SPD Charity Hongbao and Community Chest Children’s Day Appeal. Our participation aids disadvantaged families in supporting their children’s learning, health, and development.
