I’m Carene and I have over 20 years of experience in the early childhood education. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education in Teaching and Leadership and completed various certifications in early childhood education. I always try to keep up with new developments in the early childhood industry.

As a Centre Leader, I place great emphasis on maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for every child in our care. Children must feel secure and confident to explore and learn. I believe in the importance of inculcating values in young children as the right moral values help build characters and guide their behaviours in all aspects of life.

My centre has achieved recognition and awards through the years with SPARK certification in 2018, Healthy Meals in Preschool accreditation, Healthy Preschool Platinum, Silver Award in Community in Bloom and Merit Award in My Preschool Shines projects.

To enrich children’s learning beyond classrooms, we work with ECDA on the Innovation Guidance Project and Start Small Dream Big projects, Primary school and Community Club, as well as participated in numerous community programmes such as Intergenerational programme, NAC Arts Education Programme, NParks Community in Bloom Programme, Southwest CDC My Preschool Shines Programme and many more.
