Au-Tan Guat Keng

I have over 30 years of experience as a preschool educator. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Management from SUSS and a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Years. Professionalism with purpose guides my work. I do good not out of obligation, but because it matters.

Our centre’s achievement of ECDA SPARK Certification (Commendation) in 2023 stands as a testament to this commitment.

When professionalism meets purpose, it ignites a spark that lights up generations.

With nearly 23 years in early childhood education, including 14 rewarding years in leadership, my journey has been marked by countless transformative moments. Few things compare to witnessing young learners’ growth. They are proof of the lasting impact of our collective efforts.

At the core of my work is a deep love for children and a drive to enhance the quality and influence of early childhood education. I champion continuous learning, empowering educators to adapt and innovate. This creates dynamic environments that inspire a lifelong love for learning and set the stage for future success.

Early education is the compass that orients a lifetime. After 23 years, I’m still honoured to help set each child’s true north.

Hamimah Binte Ismail

Beginning as an Assistant Teacher in 1996, my 29-year journey in early childhood education has spanned Anchor Operators Centres and Montessori schools.

Dedicated to high-quality care and education, I strive to create safe, welcoming environments that nurture social, emotional, and cognitive development. Under my leadership, many teachers have grown into Senior Teachers, Vice Principals, and Principals. Clear communication, support, and leading by example are my guiding principles.

Together with an exceptional team, we achieved SPARKS Commendation, but even more important, we changed lives.
